The preschool is family owned and operated under the direction of a veteran in the childcare industry. Ms. Irma Arrambide has extensive training and experience in early childhood and the child care industry.She has maintained an excellent reputation in this same industry as previous founder and owner of Ms. Irma's Preschool & Day Care in Victoria, TX.Ms. Irma, the owner will be on site running the daily operations in the ChildDevelopmentCenter. Being a leading caregiver Ms. Irma has been providing many young children with a variety of vital opportunities for over twenty years.
In 1990, Ms. Irma was asked by the TDPRS in the Victoria Region to help establish the Crossroads Professional Home Childcare Association of Victoria. Up to her leaving Victoria in 2009 she still held office as President of this Association. As President she was in charge of setting up standards, goals and established the policies and procedures to carry them out for this organization. She provided monthly educational opportunities for members and other interested parties. Irma assisted in educating and informing parents the status of childcare; helped promote professionalism among childcare providers, and established a Referral Network for parents and childcare providers throughout Victoria and the surrounding counties along with establishing a support group for childcare providers of Victoria and its surrounding counties.
A New Day Child Development Centeris a state licensed facility that will give your child the home away from home environment they ought to have. A New Day CDC provides a full-time or a part-time child development program; we offer low child to teacher ratio; nurturing, experienced and professional caregivers; and enrichment activities for children between the ages of 18 months to 5 years of age. It is our goal to provide your child with the opportunity to grow socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally through their first years of age.

Mission
Our primary mission is to provide quality care to children in a safe, healthy and nurturing environment. A NewDayChildDevelopmentCenter utilizes “The FunShine Express curriculum.” It is a professionally designed monthly preschool curriculum designed for children ages 2-5 years of age. Our curriculum promotes social skills and school readiness, while encouraging children to develop at their own pace. Each month, your child willparticipate in activities related to three educations themes. He or she will also be introduced to three alphabet letters, one color, two to three numbers, and one shape each month through a variety of engaging, hands-on activities. Activities and assessment materials are aligned with early learning standards taught in both English & Spanish.The children will learn Prayers, Ideas, Songs and Games; lessons correspond to a theme, special day or holiday in the Fireflies monthly activity kit.
