"Ms. Irma provides a quality, safe daycare environment in which children are encouraged to grow, learn and play as young children should in a warm and caring environment. I have highly recommended her to several of my close friends and co-workers whose children have also flourished under her care.

I have known Irma for over 10 years now and have stayed close friend till today. The first encounter I personally had with her was when my daughter, who is now 12 years old, was an infant. From the time my daughter, Katelynn, was eighteen months until four years old; she attended Ms. Irma’s Preschool/Daycare. Since then, my son, Kaleb, who is now 10 years old, also attended Ms. Irma’s Preschool/Daycare from eighteen months until four years old. The presence she has with the children is exceptional. It’s amazing, the things she has accomplished with many children she has cared for. All children in her care have the utmost respect for her and staff.

Irma not only has the patience and understanding for children, but she is a true Christian and it definitely shows. She sincerely cares for people. When I would drop my children off at preschool, I was always assured that they were in the best of hands. I was always impressed with her in the fact that not only does she plan activities for the children, but she goes above and beyond. The children are treated to field trips year round. She took the girls, and sometimes boys to dance class on Tuesdays. Ms. Irma was an active participant in the yearly recital with her class. All the parents are welcome into her preschool at any time and are actively encouraged to attend the field trips.

Ms. Irma presents the children with a daily curriculum providing materials, activities and guidance so that each child develops academically to their fullest potential. Both of my children left her care with knowledge that more than prepared them for kindergarten. Each child learns to count, to name colors, in both English and Spanish, and many other social skills.   Both of my children loved going to her preschool. She is active in caring for all the children in her care.

I feel as if Irma cared for my children as if they were her own. I also believe that this community will suffer a great loss after she moves on. She undeniably established a very reputable name for herself in our community. However, the others that have the opportunity to receive her will be gaining a great blessing."

Words cannot express how grateful I am for all that you have done for Grant over the last two years.  It’s amazing to me how fast two years went by.  It feels like yesterday when I was enrolling him in your daycare.  I guess we say that about life in general, don’t we?  Time goes by so fast and it is so easy to take things for granted.  I definitely have never taken you for granted and have always appreciated your patience, love, and caring for Grant.  In the past two years, I have seen big changes in him.  He has been molded by a wonderful, Godly woman.  You have shaped him into a smart little boy who loves to learn.  What a blessing you have been to us.  I can’t thank you enough.

My prayer is that God will continue to bless others by using you to touch their children’s lives, as well as the entire family.  I can see how God is using your talents for his purpose and I am so thankful that he put you in my life.  I look forward to the day when I get to bring my next baby to you.

"Ms. Irma was my child care provider for my daughter who is now 8 years old and my son who is now 6 years old.  Both of my children loved Mrs. Irma.  There was never a day that they didn’t want to go to Ms. Irma’s House.  Their faces would light up and a HUGE smile would appear on their faces anytime they saw Ms. Irma, or her name was mentioned.  Ms. Irma opened up her arms and heart for every child who stepped through her door.

I never thought of Ms. Irma as a “babysitter”.  She was a person who cared, loved, taught, encouraged, guided and provided for each and every child no matter of their differences.  She always made children feel special and like they were the smartest kids ever!  My children learned how to socialize, treat others and were prepared more than expected for pre-school and kindergarten.  Irma expected nothing but the best from each child.  The children knew their expectations, but never struggled to achieve!  She made the environment safe and nurturing so that all kids could achieve socially and grow with knowledge.  I thank Ms. Irma for helping both of my children develop the wonderful personalities that they have.  Ms. Irma allowed each one of them to be who they are. 

Ms. Irma will be missed by many young and old in Victoria, Texas, but her legacy will never die.  My children will always hold a special place in their heart for Ms. Irma!"

"There is no private or public daycare facility that can compare to Ms. Irma's Preschool. She is devoted to the education and well being of all the children in her care and my son looks forward to going every morning. He is always talking about the activities he did with his Ms. Irma and his friends. Even though I could place my son in public school this year and save money there is no way that I would because he is getting a better education where he is and we really wish he could stay and be home schooled.
