JULY2026 CURRICULUM

We have lots of exciting plans for our July Summer Curriculum! Our teachers are preparing a variety of fun, hands-on learning experiences that will keep the children engaged, active, and having fun all month long.

From creative art projects and sensory play to outdoor adventures, science activities, music, movement, and plenty of opportunities for exploration, every day will be filled with meaningful learning through play.

We look forward to making July a month full of smiles, laughter, discovery, and wonderful summer memories!.

A New Day Child Development Center will be closed on Friday, July 3RD.

SUMMER SCHEDULE

  • Our school schedule changes during the summer months. We will be going outside first thing each morning and covering the curriculum in the afternoons. Due to the high summer temperatures, we will not be spending any time outside in the afternoons.

  • As we go outside first thing in the morning, we ask that children who arrive after 8:00 am have breakfast before arriving at school. This is because all staff will be required to be outside during this time.

SUMMER DAYS

  • Each child will need to have a sun hat for added sun protection during outside time, along with a bottle of sunscreen and a bottle of insect repellent to keep at the school.

  • Please ensure all your child’s personal belongings, such as backpacks, lunchboxes, towels, sun hats, and sunscreen, are labeled with your child’s first and last name.

SUNSCREEN APPLICATION

  • Parents must apply sunscreen to their children before arriving at school. Teachers will reapply sunscreen as needed throughout the day.

SUMMER SPLASH DAYS:

Get ready for a summer full of water play, laughter, and sunshine! Our Splash Days will begin on Tuesday, June 2nd and continue through Thursday, August 7th.

Children will enjoy fun outdoor water activities designed to help them cool off, stay active, and make special summer memories with their friends. We can’t wait for another exciting summer at A New Day!

Splash Day Volunteer Helpers

We are so thankful for the wonderful parents who have signed up to help with our Summer Splash Days! Your support, time, and willingness to be involved mean so much to our school and the children

As a reminder, due to the school currently being at full enrollment capacity, we are unable to allow siblings to attend or participate during Splash Day volunteer times.

In order to remain in compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing regulations and maintain required supervision and ratio standards, only currently enrolled students may participate in Splash Day activities.

We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep all children safe while following childcare regulations and maintaining a fun and organized environment for everyone.

Thank you again for supporting A New Day Child Development Center!

Birthday celebrations at school are simple and inclusive. Parents may bring in a store-bought snack for your child’s class, arranged in individual portions for convenience.

REMINDER

To help protect all our student’s feelings, we kindly ask that birthday invitations for personal parties only be sent through your child’s teacher if the entire class is invited.

This helps ensure no child feels left out or excluded.

Treat bags may be exchanged at parent’s cost.

If you prefer not to celebrate your child's birthday at school, please notify us in writing beforehand.

2026–2027 School Year Paperwork & Supply Fee Reminder

As we begin the new 2026–2027 school year, we would like to thank all of our families for completing and returning the required enrollment paperwork.

If you have not yet submitted all of your forms, please do so as soon as possible. Keeping your child's records current helps us maintain compliance with state licensing requirements and ensures we have the most up-to-date information to provide the best care for your child.

Please remember that the 2026–2027 Supply Fee is due on July 1, 2026. These fees help provide classroom materials, educational supplies, art resources, and other items that support your child's learning throughout the school year.

If you have any questions or need additional copies of any forms, please stop by the front office. Thank you for your prompt attention and for your continued partnership with A New Day Child Development Center!

LAKE TRAVIS BOOKMOBILE

We're excited to welcome the Lake Travis Bookmobile to A New Day Child Development Center on:

Monday, July 13
Monday, July 27

The Bookmobile gives our children a wonderful opportunity to explore books, foster a love of reading, and enjoy a fun literacy experience right here at school!

We're looking forward to two great visits filled with stories, imagination, and learning!

SUMMER BREAK

A NEW DAY CDC WILL BE CLOSED THE WEEK OF:

JULY 06, 2026 through JULY 10, 2026

To provide your child with the best care possible, our team must remain in good physical and emotional health. Since the school operates on a planned budget and must meet its financial obligations promptly, the following school closures will be observed as paid holidays. Due to fixed costs averaged over the calendar year, there will be no reduction in tuition for these days off.

PARENT REFERRALS

Help Us Grow Our School Family!
The best compliment we can receive is your referral. We have a few spots remaining for the 2025–2026 school year, and we’d love your help in filling them with wonderful families like yours.

As a thank you, A New Day CDC offers a $300 referral bonus once the family you refer has been enrolled for 6 weeks.

2026-2027 HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

Ensuring your child's well-being depends on our team maintaining good physical and emotional health. Our school strictly adheres to a thoughtfully planned budget to promptly fulfill financial commitments. Therefore, upcoming holidays and school closures will be observed as paid holidays, with specific dates communicated in advance through posted memos.

If a holiday falls on a weekend, the corresponding day off will be observed on either Friday or Monday. Despite fixed costs spread over the calendar year, please be aware that there will be no reduction in tuition for these scheduled breaks.

We recommend keeping a copy of the calendar below for reference, enabling your family to plan accordingly.
