ARRIVALS & ATTENDANCE
PRE-K STUDENTS MUST BE DROPPED OFF BY 8:30 AM
We kindly ask for your support in maintaining consistent attendance and timely arrival for your children. Consistency and routine are very important at this age, and arriving on time helps set your child up for a successful and positive day.
Our educational program begins promptly at 8:45 AM, so it is important that children arrive before that time. Late arrivals can be disruptive to the classroom, make it harder for children to transition into activities, and may cause them to miss important learning experiences.
Drop-Off Guidelines:
Please plan to have your child dropped off before 8:45 AM each day
Late drop-offs are only permitted for doctor’s appointments, emergencies, or special family circumstances
If a late arrival is necessary, please notify us in advance so we can prepare the classroom accordingly
If your child arrives after the cut-off time without prior approval, you will be asked to keep them home and return the following day. This policy is in place to keep all students on a consistent schedule and to avoid disruption to the classroom.
Pre-K Students Drop Off Time is 8:30 am!
Pre-K students must arrive by 8:30 AM, with no exceptions unless a doctor’s note is provided.
We truly appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a structured, consistent, and nurturing learning environment for all of our children. Thank you for your continued support.
CHILDREN’S WATER BOTTLES
Please be sure your child brings a spill-proof water bottle each day. Kindly wash and refill it thoroughly before returning it to school.
We also ask that all of your child’s belongings are clearly labeled with their full first and last name.
Thank you so much for your cooperation!
HEALTH & IMMUNIZATION REMINDER
Please ensure your child’s immunization records and required health forms are up to date and on file. Children without current documentation will not be able to attend until all records are submitted.
If your child is 4 years or older, vision and hearing screening results must also be provided.
Thank you for helping us keep all of our children safe and healthy!

April Parent Resource: Supporting Your Child’s Independence
As children grow, they naturally begin to seek more independence. Encouraging this at home helps build confidence, responsibility, and problem-solving skills—all important foundations for school success.
Here are a few simple ways to support your child’s independence:
Encourage “I Can Do It!” Moments
Allow your child to try tasks on their own, such as:
Putting on shoes
Cleaning up toys
Feeding themselves
It may take a little longer, but these small moments build big confidence!
Offer Simple Choices
Give your child opportunities to make decisions:
“Do you want the red cup or the blue cup?”
“Would you like to read a book or draw?”
This helps children feel capable and respected.
Create Daily Routines
Children thrive with structure. Simple routines like:
Cleaning up after playtime
Washing hands before meals
Helping set the table
build responsibility and consistency.
Praise Effort, Not Just Results
Focus on encouraging effort:
“You worked really hard putting that together!”
“I love how you tried all by yourself!”
This helps children stay motivated and proud of their progress.
Stay Patient & Supportive
Learning independence takes time. Offer guidance when needed, but allow space for your child to try, make mistakes, and learn.
